Loan Originator’s Responsibilities

• Take loan application
• Collect signed disclosures and required documents
• Find Investor, determine loan program and locking the rate
• Forward DU File (if possible)

Loan Star Processing Responsibilities

• Order Appraisal and Title
• Order payoffs
• Order all VOE's, VOD's, VOM's, VOR's and documentation required by third parties
• Verify disclosures are accurate and complete
• Review Credit report, Bank statements, pay-stubs and W2’s
• Clear loan conditions
• Update or order Hazard Insurance with correct Mortgagee Clause
• Submit loan package to your Lender
• Prepare Feed Sheet for review by Broker and submit to Lender
• Coordinate Closing
• Request copy of HUD prior to closing to ensure all fees are correct
• Follow up to confirm loan closed and funded
• Return file back to broker with copy of file on a disk
